Artificial Intelligence: MediaMarktSaturn integrates GenAI Voicebot into the customer hotline
AI Voicebot Enhances 24/7 Service
MediaMarktSaturn is using a GenAI-based voicebot to support its customer hotline. The voicebot uses the FAQs on the MediaMarktSaturn websites to provide relevant information quickly and around the clock, thus solving the most common customer queries. The voicebot has been successfully launched in Germany in September, the first test phase started in Austria and the Netherlands, and the rollout will continue in Spain in early 2025.
MediaMarktSaturn is expanding its digital services and is now using an innovative AI solution to further improve its customer service. The new voicebot, which was developed in collaboration with Parloa, is based on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and makes it possible to answer customer queries on the hotline automatically and in natural language. If the caller generally does not want to speak to the voicebot or the voicebot cannot provide a solution to the request, callers are forwarded to a customer service employee.
"With the integration of the new voicebot, we are continuously improving our digital service offering," explains Henny Steiniger, Vice President Services & Solutions, Customer Experience & Care. "By using artificial intelligence, we are not only increasing efficiency, but also offering our customers a service that is available around the clock. This is in line with our vision of offering innovative and intuitive solutions that make our customers' everyday lives easier."

Becoming an experience champion with service design
Service Design for Better Experiences
MediaMarktSaturn is evolving from a pure product seller into a customer-centric omnichannel service platform. Such a restructuring also means doing things differently. MediaMarktSaturn wants to make the customer's shopping experience even more pleasant and personal. One way to meet this challenge and introduce new processes or services is the service design method.

BLACK FRIDAY SURVEY 2025
Two-thirds of Germans use deals; impulse buys beat shopping lists.
A recent survey by MediaMarktSaturn shows that 59 percent of Germans are inspired by special offers rather than shopping with a fixed list. For most, their budget remains realistic.

Cheeky statement
MediaMarktSaturn invites voice assistant Alexa to a real talk – with surprising results.
With its new advertising campaign, MediaMarktSaturn is taking a stand against the omnipresent online retail sector, confidently and humorously showcasing the advantages customers enjoy when shopping at MediaMarkt and Saturn. Compared to purely online retailers, the company particularly scores points with its customer focus, high-quality advice, and delivery of online orders within 90 minutes.

Cheers to technology!
100 Years of Tech – 100 Deals
The IFA, the largest and most important tech fair in the world, is just around the corner and celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. MediaMarkt and Saturn are using this opportunity to inspire customers with a special promotion.

Click & Collect Express: Service at MediaMarkt and Saturn is now even faster
Customers can pick up their online orders within 30 minutes at a store of their choice, provided the goods are in stock. This was made possible by a group-wide rollout of approximately 44,000 employee smartphones, including in-house developed apps such as "MyStore" and "Pick&Pack".
Ingolstadt, February 24, 2022: The pandemic, with its numerous lockdowns, has demonstrated that a perfectly tailored omnichannel offering – the availability of products, services, and advice both online and offline across all channels – is more important than ever. While MediaMarkt and Saturn's Click & Collect service was already popular and frequently used before the pandemic, it has experienced a significant boost since the first lockdown in spring 2020. Currently, around half of all products ordered from the MediaMarkt and Saturn online shops are picked up in-store. To accommodate this trend, the two electronics retailers have optimized their Click & Collect service so that all products available directly in-store can now be picked up within 30 minutes of ordering online – making online shopping even more enjoyable.
- MediaMarkt and Saturn are making their omnichannel offerings even more attractive.
- Many products can now be picked up in-store within 30 minutes of ordering online.
- All stores nationwide are now open to all customers again.
The mix is key: Online shopping has become more popular than ever, especially since the pandemic – at the same time, many consumers still desire personal advice and additional services, such as repairs or picking up online orders in-store. The advantages of Click & Collect: Delivery fees are eliminated, and customers save time, as they can often pick up their products on the same day they order. Furthermore, the ordered products can be conveniently paid for in-store. For those who want their products even faster, Click & Collect Express is now available: Many products ordered at www.mediamarkt.de and www.saturn.de can now be picked up in-store within 30 minutes – provided the products are in stock at the selected store.
Click & Collect offers the convenience of in-store pickup. Click & Collect Express is primarily made possible by digital support: In-store employees use their company smartphones and a specially developed app to process orders. This significantly speeds up the process, and goods ordered online are ready for pickup in the store within a very short time.
It's this easy: Before ordering in the online shop, select your preferred store, and you'll immediately see if the desired product is ready for pickup. In your shopping cart, under "How would you like to receive your products?", click the "Ready for pickup" option and complete your order. You can also choose whether you prefer to pay online or in-store upon pickup. It couldn't be more convenient or faster.
Furthermore, MediaMarkt and Saturn are pleased that, thanks to the nationwide lifting of the 2G and 3G restrictions in retail, they can now welcome and advise all customers in-store again. The existing social distancing and hygiene rules will, of course, continue to be observed. Customers can find information about the currently applicable Corona regulations in the individual stores at www.mediamarkt.de/de/service/coronainfos and https://www.saturn.de/de/service/coronainfos.

Continuous growth: MediaMarktSaturn Marketplace continues positive development and further expansion
Marketplace Growth Accelerates Further
MediaMarktSaturn is making steady progress in expanding the marketplace: In the third quarter 2023/24, the gross merchandise value (GMV) more than doubled compared to the prior-year quarter and more than 1.6 million products from around 1,470 sellers are now available on the platform. With the launch in Italy, the introduction of financing services for marketplace products and the expansion of refurbished products, the company has already laid further important cornerstones to achieve its target of €750 million GMV by 2025/26.
The strong growth of the Marketplace is due, among other things, to an expanded product portfolio, the completed rollout in five countries - Germany, Austria, Spain, the Netherlands and, most recently, Italy in July - as well as the expansion of refurbished products and the ongoing optimization of the integration of the Marketplace with the online stores. Other important cornerstones of the Marketplace strategy, which will ensure continued growth in the future, have already been implemented or are in the process of being implemented.
"With the integration of Space-as-a-Service offerings in the stationary market, the financing service for Marketplace products and the expansion of our refurbished offerings, we are making our Marketplace even more attractive - for customers and partners alike. With the expansion of new verticals such as DYI, sports and health, we want to reach new target groups in the long term. The roll-out of the Marketplace in three additional countries in the coming calendar year will also be a strong growth driver in order to achieve our declared goals by 2025/26," explains Christian Kollesch, Managing Director of MediaMarktSaturn Marketplace.
Refurbished products - new online store experience
The refurbished product offering has been further enhanced with the introduction of a new user experience design. The redesign provides customers with a clearer, more intuitive shopping experience and access to an even wider selection of refurbished products from marketplace sellers. Products are now categorized into three easy-to-understand quality levels based on availability: “Excellent”, “Very Good” and “Good”. These grades are based primarily on external signs of use and battery life, and guarantee full functionality. When products are available, customers can now find alternative refurbished offers from the Marketplace directly on the product detail page of the new device.
However, the topic of refurbishment is not only receiving more attention online, but also in stores. In May, a pop-up store on the topic of sustainability opened in Tübingen, Germany, bringing the company's marketplace, sustainable product range and refurbishment to the brick-and-mortar stores for the first time.
Financing Service for Marketplace Products
At the end of July, MediaMarktSaturn also introduced the popular financing service for Marketplace products in Germany and will roll it out to other countries. As a result, customers benefit from an additional payment option in the Marketplace that enables them to set up individual financing plans and make larger purchases without having to pay the full amount immediately. Marketplace sellers can use an established financing option at MediaMarktSaturn and further increase the attractiveness of their offers and their sales potential.
Expansion of the Space-as-a-Service offering
MediaMarktSaturn is continuing to expand its Space-as-a-Service offerings for marketplace sellers. In Germany, Spain and the Netherlands, the first spaces have already been rented by Marketplace sellers in the stores to present their products live on site. This offering allows sellers to tap into the company's extensive network of more than 1,000 stores and showcase their products to a broad audience in Experience Zones. In the future, customers will also be able to experience and test Marketplace products in their local stores, benefiting from an even wider range of products.

Convenient parcel service for customers: MediaMarktSaturn integrates parcel shops from DPD and GLS into almost all German stores
Package shops now available nationwide in Germany
MediaMarktSaturn is expanding its service offerings and integrating parcel shops into nearly all 400 Media Markt and Saturn stores in Germany. Following a successful pilot project in approximately 50 selected stores, customers can now conveniently pick up and send parcels from the parcel services DPD Germany and GLS Germany at an increasing number of locations.
Successful pilot project as a foundation: In the test phase, which began in mid-2023, customers had the option of picking up and sending their parcels at over 50 stores. This service has already been used more than 160,000 times and has been considered a success by all project participants. Based on the positive feedback and high customer demand, the service is being gradually expanded to almost all German stores in cooperation with DPD and GLS.
The national rollout has already begun, and approximately 30 more stores will integrate the parcel services of DPD and GLS in February – bringing the total number of stores in Germany offering this customer-friendly service to over 80. The rollout will continue gradually. Customers can send and collect their parcels either via the online pick-up area or at designated collection zones within the store. The DPD and GLS store locators make it easy to find the nearest store offering parcel shops.

Corporate News: MediaMarktSaturn opens Germany's first "Tech Village" in Berlin / Further technology experience centers planned in European metropolises
Corporate News
MediaMarktSaturn is driving forward the realignment and modernization of its store formats across Europe with the opening of new "Lighthouse" stores. Following successful launches in Milan, Rotterdam, and Rome, Europe's largest consumer electronics retailer will open its first "Lighthouse" store in Germany on September 1st with "Tech Village Berlin" at Alexanderplatz. Further openings will follow at the end of September in Madrid and in October in Vienna. This will bring MediaMarktSaturn's total number of these stores to six. More are planned to open throughout Europe in the coming years.
"In implementing our omnichannel strategy, we are also specifically strengthening our brick-and-mortar business as the core of our activities. We are modernizing existing stores and introducing new formats to offer our customers the most attractive shopping experience possible," said Dr. Karsten Wildberger, CEO of CECONOMY and MediaMarktSaturn. "The Lighthouse concept is the flagship of the new store formats. Working closely with our partners, we are setting new standards in brick-and-mortar retail."
The experience with the existing "Lighthouse" stores has been consistently positive. "Our customers have embraced the concept very well; it's a commercial success. We will be opening two new stores of this type in Madrid and Vienna this year, and more are planned for the coming years."
The new MediaMarkt "Tech Village Berlin" is a technology experience of superlatives: Designed by the renowned Italian architect Fabio Novembre, MediaMarktSaturn presents its customers with the most important innovations and most popular electronics products from a wide range of segments across four floors and a total area of 8,000 square meters.
Architecturally modeled after an Italian marketplace, each floor features a central piazza showcasing an extensive selection of technology products.
Partner boutiques, where the industry's top brands present their latest highlights, are arranged around the central marketplace. MediaMarktSaturn has secured more than 30 renowned manufacturers as partners for its "Tech Village Berlin," including Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, Sonos, Sony, Philips, Logitech, Xiaomi, Miele, and Dyson.
Spread across all floors are six so-called Experience Zones – areas where customers can directly try out and experience innovations and the latest products. Regular events will also be held here. Another highlight is the "Barista Club," a coffee bar that invites customers to enjoy the finest coffee specialties.
In a spacious service area, MediaMarktSaturn offers its customers a comprehensive range of services. And, of course, "Tech Village Berlin" is also closely integrated with the company's online services, giving customers convenient access to all of MediaMarktSaturn's omnichannel offerings.
"Tech Village Berlin is like a trade fair all year round. Our customers can get an overview of the hottest trends in the industry here every day," explained Jörg Bauer, COO of MediaMarktSaturn Germany. "With the boutiques of our most renowned industry partners, great products, an innovative architectural concept, plenty of service and our own café, we make shopping here a real experience."

Countless possibilities in one device: MediaMarktSaturn focuses on the circular economy with an international campaign
Second Life for Your Devices
MediaMarktSaturn is convinced that every device deserves a second life. The company is now also showcasing its commitment to sustainability and the circular economy in its marketing.
Ingolstadt, April 9, 2025
In the latest campaign, MediaMarktSaturn and brand ambassador Jürgen Klopp are teaming up to promote the retailer's trade-in service. The campaign will be shown in all eleven countries in which the company is active.
The centerpiece of the marketing initiative is a spot featuring brand ambassador Jürgen Klopp. He uses MediaMarktSaturn's trade-in service for his used smartphone. The phone ends up in other hands as a refurbished product. The new owner is a young, passionate football talent who likes to share her football skills on social media - and soccer enthusiast Jürgen Klopp is also among the many people who watch and like the video. The second life that MediaMarktSaturn has given the smartphone means that the girl and the previous owner are unwittingly connected and the young player's joy at receiving a reaction from Jürgen Klopp is hard to contain.
Michael Schuld, CMO of MediaMarktSaturn: "Reuse instead of waste – that is the core message of our new campaign. With our trade-in service, we bring sustainability and affordability together: Every old device holds a new life – and at the same time, you’re doing something good for your wallet. These two aspects correspond to the spirit of our times. That’s why they are a perfect match for our marketing."
In Germany, the campaign is supplemented by additional marketing measures relating to sustainable services. These include a poster campaign at the point of sale as well as various videos for online or TV use, which focus on repair, refurbished products or display protection, among others. The aim is to further increase awareness of MediaMarktSaturn's circular economy offerings. In Germany, the campaign will be shown on TV, online and at the point of sale from April 22 to May 19. Saatchi & Saatchi (creation) and German Wahnsinn (brand soundtrack & music) were involved in the realization of the campaign. Publicis Media was responsible for the media budget.
The commitment to greater sustainability, the Impact Experience, is a central component of MediaMarktSaturn's corporate strategy. The company was already able to further strengthen its services and offerings in the past financial year: The number of trade-in products grew by 94% year-on-year, while the number of remanufactured products sold rose by as much as 275%.

Europe's largest technology experience center: MediaMarktSaturn opens Tech Village Hamburg on Mönckebergstraße
Europe's largest technology experience center opens
As part of its omnichannel strategy, MediaMarktSaturn continues to invest in its brick-and-mortar stores and is consistently expanding its store formats. The former Saturn store in the heart of Hamburg has been completely modernized and will reopen on September 5th as a "Lighthouse" store. This will unite the two future-oriented concepts, "Tech Village" and "Xperion," under one roof for the first time.
A superlative technology experience: Spanning approximately 15.000 square meters, MediaMarktSaturn is now presenting a "Lighthouse" format store in the Hanseatic metropolis. With brand boutiques, experience zones, and an impressive gaming area, the store offers a captivating customer experience that sets new standards in brick-and-mortar retail.
"Tech Village Hamburg embodies our 'Experience Electronics' strategy," says Sascha Mager, CEO of MediaMarktSaturn Germany. “We are emphasizing our goal of creating unforgettable shopping experiences and putting our customers’ needs first. In addition to expanding our online capabilities, we are investing in our brick-and-mortar stores and focusing on the right format in the right location. Mönckebergstraße, one of Germany’s most renowned shopping and promenade streets, offers the perfect conditions for establishing a central destination for tech-savvy customers.” This is the second Lighthouse-format store in Germany, following Berlin, and the eleventh across Europe. The company aims to have up to 20 such flagship stores in Europe by the 2025/26 financial year.

In addition to the same-day delivery service for packages and goods up to 23 kg, which has been available since April 2024 and can be delivered within 90 minutes in cooperation with Uber, MediaMarktSaturn now also offers a flexible solution for large, last-minute Christmas gifts.

"We want to offer our customers flexible, fast, and convenient deliveries and services that perfectly suit their needs – and especially now during the Christmas season, enable stress-free planning for the holidays. The 10,000 mAh power bank from ISY provides the necessary juice of your smartphone and tablet on the go. This gives all technical companions an energy boost to the next socket.
Slightly nostalgic, but in times of possible power outages again a current gift idea, are portable, battery-operated radios. The model from Panasonic with DAB/DAB+ and FM tuner offers the best digital reception quality with a versatile program selection and fits in every household.
Radiant eyes for small and large children
With Olaf, the snowman, winter mood moves into the children's room. The Tonie character plays the adventure "The Frozen - Olaf thawed". For this, the audio figure is simply placed on the Toniebox. Action and adventure of a completely different kind can be found, for example, with the Asterix Tonie.
For children over three years of age, the VTECH Kidizoom Duo with front and rear camera is a squeaky idea to promote the spirit of discovery. The robust digital camera can play music and stimulate the imagination with fun AR games.

Start and relax
When everyday life starts again in the new year and getting up early in the morning is difficult, the Philips light alarm clock is the right partner on the bedside table. It gently awakens with a combination of light and sound inspired by nature.
At Christmas directly think of the time after the delicacies? This is really fun with the Xiaomi Smart Band 7, because the fitness tracker helps to make everyday life more active.
If, on the other hand, you are looking for relaxation on the sofa instead of exercise, you will find access to the best entertainment with the Google Chromecast Streaming Player: fast streaming and a crystal clear image with bright colors in brilliant HD quality.

The third-generation Apple Air Pods are also practical. The perfect gadget for all iPhone users to finally leave the cable clutter of the headphones behind. The comfortable fit in the ear and the sound quality guarantee a new listening experience.

Anyone who photographs or films a lot knows the problem: The memory of the smartphone or laptop is quickly full. Rescue and thus more space on the devices is approaching with the one terabyte external hard drive.
If it is not the storage capacity of common smartphones that is seen as a challenge, but the somewhat too confusing operation, the Emporia Smart Senior Smartphone is the perfect idea for robust parents or grandparents. Reduced to the essential functions, the device brings fun and digital participation.
Kitchen magic
Enjoyment is also the order of the day for many at the turn of the year - when New Year's Eve is celebrated with a delicious raclette with friends and family. But the smells often hang in the apartment for days afterwards. Not with the Unold Smokeless Raclette: It has a removable extractor hood with replaceable activated carbon filter. This makes meat, fish and co. prepared odorless.
With the espresso machine from DeLonghi, your own kitchen becomes an Italian café. Whether aromatic mild espresso or creamy milk foam, hot milk or hot water for tea, with the stylish all-round talent everything succeeds.

MediaMarktSaturn focuses on the perfect gifts, services, and advice in its campaign
In its new international Christmas campaign, MediaMarktSaturn reinterprets the Christmas hit "Driving Home for Christmas" and highlights how the retail company ensures a stress-free Christmas season.

How physical space concepts are redefining the tech experience
Instead of traditional sales areas, innovative experience spaces are being created
MediaMarktSaturn is responding to the growing need of customers to experience complex technologies not only digitally, but also physically and with all their senses. Instead of traditional sales areas, innovative experience spaces are being created that combine interaction, brand staging, and education into a holistic experience, making technological innovation tangible, relevant, and trustworthy.

How technology can be experienced through different store formats
Shopping experience at MediaMarktSaturn
MediaMarktSaturn is transforming itself from the pure product provider of the past into a customer-centric omnichannel service platform. The company, which operates in 11 European countries, is aligning all of its decisions with the needs of its customers. The shopping experience is constantly being improved on all channels - in-store, online and in the app. This is why MediaMarktSaturn continues to invest heavily in its brick-and-mortar stores. They should be places of experience, always where our customers need us. To this end, the stores are being continuously modernized and four core formats have been rolled out in all countries over the past few years: Lighthouse, Xpress, Smart and Core. Wherever possible and promising, new concepts such as a Mobility Store or Space as a Service offerings are being tested.
The goal is clear: a modern shopping experience for our customers across all channels. Omnichannel, the networking of online and offline channels, is MediaMarktSaturn's great strength, as is the focus on the customer and their needs. The company's motto is: the right format in the right place in order to be even closer to the customer and respond more individually to their needs. The stores and personal advice are MediaMarktSaturn's ace up its sleeve compared to its major competitors. MediaMarktSaturn also offers its partners unique opportunities to present their products. The Lighthouse, Core, Smart and Xpress store formats are being continuously developed and rolled out step by step in all countries; the second Lighthouse in Austria recently opened in Graz.

Instead of flowers for Valentine's Day: MediaMarktSaturn helps to create unforgettable moments with the latest technology
Tech Over Roses This Valentine’s
Just in time for Valentine's Day, MediaMarktSaturn is presenting a campaign that rethinks traditional gift-giving. Instead of the annual chocolates, roses and the like, the electronics retailer is showing how technology can create emotional experiences with a focus on its own brands.

Launch of international Christmas campaign
Relaxed Holidays With Klopp and Tech
Just in time for the Christmas season, MediaMarktSaturn is presenting the next phase of its international collaboration with Jürgen Klopp, the company's new brand ambassador. Under the motto "Enjoy a relaxed Christmas", this year's campaign is all about a stress-free Christmas season.
Ingolstadt, November 14, 2024
With their new Christmas campaign, Team MediaMarktSaturn and coach Jürgen Klopp are enabling a relaxed festive season and focusing on the retailer's gift ideas and services. The campaign shows MediaMarktSaturn as the reliable partner throughout Europe that enriches the Christmas experience with customized services and thus ensures a relaxed holiday season. After all, this is exactly what the holidays are all about: more time for family and friends.
In MediaMarktSaturn's new Christmas commercial, brand ambassador Jürgen Klopp shows how the electronics retailer's wide range of services make shopping an experience that focuses on the needs of our customers. At MediaMarktSaturn, they benefit from a comprehensive range of services that go far beyond individual gift advice: with express delivery, orders arrive directly at our customers' homes within 90 minutes. The Click & Collect service also offers additional flexibility: orders that have been conveniently reserved online can be prepared and collected from the store in just 30 minutes. This saves time. The "Ready to go" service makes it even easier to get started with new smartphones, for example, by setting up the devices ready for use. Anyone buying larger technology products can also take advantage of the professional installation service and enjoy the devices immediately ready for use.
Michael Schuld, CMO of MediaMarktSaturn, emphasizes: "We have a powerful team and we are underlining this with our Christmas campaign this year. To make our team even stronger, we also have our new team member Jürgen Klopp on board. With his authentic and likeable manner, he shows how easy and relaxed the holidays can be with our services. Together with him, we offer our customers not only the right products, but also comprehensive services that ensure a carefree Christmas. After all, it is precisely these services that set us apart from the competition and make us the Experience Champion."
The campaign will be shown in all eleven countries in which MediaMarktSaturn is active. The campaign spot will be adapted locally: Thanks to the innovative use of artificial intelligence (AI), Klopp speaks all national languages. MediaMarktSaturn has further developed and trained its in-house language AI for this purpose. In this way, the company is taking a new step in the international adaptation of campaign content.
In Germany, the campaign will run from December 2 to December 24 and can be seen on TV, online video, in cinemas and at the point of sale. The agencies Saatchi & Saatchi and BWGTBLD were involved in the production.

To ensure that the much-desired peaceful Advent season isn't spoiled by too much gift-giving stress this year, Saturn's Gift Finder provides plenty of inspiration. The following small selection of diverse gift ideas shows that Saturn's online shop has something for every budget and every wish.* Of course, you can also find many more suggestions in their stores.
The annual question of what presents to put under the Christmas tree for loved ones quickly leads to hectic activity and tension during the cozy Advent season. Whether for your partner, parents, children, friends, or acquaintances – Saturn has compiled the perfect gift ideas for a wide range of interests and price points, proving that tech gadgets bring smiles to the faces of recipients of all ages. All the products presented here are linked again at the bottom of the page in the Saturn online shop. Here too: While supplies last! So it pays to be quick!
Smart Gifts – Perfect for the Current Times
Save energy with a twist: The HAMA Mini Wi-Fi Smart Plug makes it easy to identify energy guzzlers. This smart plug not only lets you switch floor lamps or TVs on and off via app or voice control, but also measures energy consumption in real time.
The 20,000 mAh power bank from Realpower provides the necessary power for your smartphone and tablet on the go. This gives all your tech companions a boost of energy until you reach the next power outlet.
Slightly nostalgic, but still a relevant gift idea in times of potential power outages, are portable, battery-powered radios. The Technisat model with DAB+ and FM tuner offers excellent digital reception quality with a diverse selection of programs and fits perfectly in any home.
Bright Eyes for Children of All Ages
A little angel brings Christmas cheer to the children's room. The Tonie figure plays 20 of Rolf Zuckowski's most popular children's Christmas carols, including "In der Weihnachtsbäckerei" (In the Christmas Bakery). Simply place the figure on the Toniebox. For more action and adventure, try the Paw Patrol Tonie "Der Pirateschatz" (The Pirate Treasure).
Children aged four and up can learn through play with the digital learning game from Edurino. In the starter set "Die versunene Welt der Zahlen" (The Sunken World of Numbers), Robin the raccoon embarks on an exciting journey into the world of numbers with little ones.
And what's the best Christmas gift for little ones? A smartphone? But a child-friendly one, please! The Kidizoom Snap Touch children's camera from VTECH comes in a stylish smartphone design. It allows children to take photos and videos, play games, and share content with others via Bluetooth.
The perfect gift for gamers is the Ready to Gaming Racing Steering Wheel. Compatible with almost all popular consoles, it includes a gear shifter and pedals, providing a realistic driving experience at home.
Start Your Day and Relax
For those who struggle to get out of bed in the dark winter mornings, the Philips Light Alarm Clock is the perfect bedside companion, gently waking you with a nature-inspired combination of light and sound.
Want to start thinking about the post-Christmas feasting season right away? The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 makes it fun, as this fitness tracker helps you be more active in your daily life.
If, on the other hand, you're looking to relax on the sofa rather than exercise, the Google Chromecast streaming player offers access to top-notch entertainment: fast streaming and a crystal-clear picture with vibrant colors in brilliant HD quality.
Parents are often stressed during the Christmas season, and a massage gun like the one from Medisana can work wonders. The individually adjustable vibrations loosen muscles – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the holidays.
The Apple AirPods Pro are also practical. They offer active noise cancellation but allow outside sounds to pass through in Transparency mode. The perfect gadget for all iPhone users to finally leave behind the tangled mess of headphones.
Capture and Share Moments
Anyone who takes a lot of photos or videos knows the problem: smartphone or laptop storage fills up quickly. Relief, and thus more space on your devices, is at hand with Samsung's one terabyte external hard drive.
If the challenge isn't the storage capacity of standard smartphones, but rather their somewhat cluttered user interface, the Doro Senior Smartphone is the perfect solution for active parents or grandparents. Reduced to the essential functions, the device offers fun and digital participation.
Kitchen Magic
Home cooks always appreciate some help in the kitchen. The Bosch MUM food processor is the ideal companion: it kneads, whisks, or grates ingredients, making baking a breeze.
New Year's Eve would be the perfect occasion to try a classic with an elegant twist: the WMF raclette grill. With its eight pans, it ensures culinary enjoyment on convivial evenings with family and friends. For those who still haven't found the perfect gift or are finding it hard to decide, Saturn has another tip: With the Saturn Gift Card, recipients can easily fulfill their individual wishes. The gift cards, available in two different Christmas designs, can be loaded with a balance between €5 and €150 and redeemed both online and in-store. Further gift ideas can be found in the Saturn online shop and in stores.
Saturn Services for Christmas
And this Christmas, Saturn also offers a wide range of services to make shopping more convenient. With Click & Collect Express, those who decide at the last minute can pick up many products directly from the store within 30 minutes of ordering online – provided the products are in stock at the selected store. In addition, customers can purchase gifts with 0% financing for orders over €100 (maximum term of 10 months).**

Shaping the future of retail: MediaMarktSaturn presents a full-day program at IFA on September 6th.
Experience the future of retail live
IFA, the world's largest and most important tech trade show, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. As an IFA partner, MediaMarktSaturn will be presenting the program on the Dream Stage in the IFA NEXT Hall on the first day of the show, featuring presentations and panel discussions.
Ingolstadt, August 26, 2024
A perfectly complementary partnership: MediaMarktSaturn, Europe's leading retailer of consumer electronics, and IFA, the meeting place for cutting-edge technology and innovations in home electronics, share their passion for technology with customers and visitors from around the world. On opening day, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., MediaMarktSaturn will be presenting the program on the Dream Stage within IFA NEXT, focusing on the future viability of retail.
Since its founding in 1924, IFA has offered its visitors the unique opportunity to admire the latest products and trends and be inspired by technological advancements. The trade fair impressively reflects technological development and demonstrates that progress has never been as rapid as it is today. What role does MediaMarktSaturn play as a retailer in this? How does the company intend to shape the future? The program that MediaMarktSaturn has put together for IFA addresses these and many other questions about the future of retail. Both in-house speakers and invited guests will have their say.
The Program in Detail
One theme that will run like a common thread through the program when it comes to the future of retail is omnichannel, the foundation for constant growth at MediaMarktSaturn. The seamless integration of online and offline channels offers customers the best of both worlds and is the biggest differentiator compared to purely online players.
Highlight Presentations:
Brand Evolution: Strong brands are drivers of growth. However, they only develop their full potential when they are aligned with the corporate strategy. MediaMarktSaturn describes its repositioning and, at the same time, its range of services for its customers with the term "Experience Electronics." The driving force behind the MediaMarkt and Saturn brands is that technology becomes an experience. The consistent implementation of the new brand strategy for almost two years now, with its brand purpose, international campaign concept, and highlighting of differentiating services, is putting both brands back on the fast track, step by step. Let's Go! (Michael Schuld, CCMO MediaMarktSaturn, 12:05 p.m.)
Retail Media: MediaMarktSaturn offers brand manufacturers the opportunity to advertise on the MediaMarkt and Saturn webshops or apps. With 2.2 billion customer contacts, the company is ideally positioned to develop an even more relevant business in this area. (Presentation by Torsten Ahlers, Managing Director Retail Media, 12:25 p.m.)
Marketplace: The Marketplace is an extension of the webshop, where third-party retailers offer their products. MediaMarktSaturn thus expands its product range for its customers without having to assume any inventory risk itself. This improves the company's profitability. (Presentation by Christian Kollesch, Managing Director MediaMarktSaturn Marketplace, 12:45 p.m.)
