Recycling

In waste electrical and electronic equipment there are valuable raw materials and spare parts that can be recovered through harvesting and recycling – but also hazardous substances that must not be released into the environment. Our customers can return their waste electrical and electronic equipment at all our stores. When purchasing a new large appliance, we take back the old appliance directly upon delivery. Treatment and disposal are carried out in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.

For packaging waste, we follow the three Rs:

REDUCE, meaning less packaging material and optimized packaging dimensions, for example by avoiding additional outer packaging or using “pack-to-good” machines.

REUSE, through reusable packaging materials, especially in warehousing and logistics.

And RECYCLE, by using mono-materials – for example water-activated paper tapes that can be recycled together with the shipping carton.
