We limit our emissions from transport and storage with an efficient logistics strategy. We are developing our logistics into a centralized omnichannel network that combines efficiency and emissions reduction.

Optimized route management enables shorter delivery routes and better supply to our stores. In metropolitan areas and major cities, we rely on regional hubs to avoid long-distance transports from central warehouses. We already deliver emissions-free in 120 cities—thanks in part to our cooperation with Uber, which enables deliveries using electric vehicles and bicycles.

We are piloting such concepts in various countries and are gradually expanding them with new features and regions. Together with our logistics partners, we continuously improve our data base and develop new measures for emissions reduction.
